Baicells Nova 436H (Outdoor)
Baicells Nova 436h is a sophisticated two-carrier outdoor eNodeB (eNB) compliant with 3GPP LTE TDD technology. This 4x1W eNB is capable of operating in both Carrier Aggregation (CA) and Dual Carrier (DC) modes.
In CA mode, the Nova436h supports 2CC (2 Component Carriers) DL/UL CA, effectively doubling DL/UL peak throughput compared to a single carrier by merging two distinct spectrum resources into a virtually contiguous spectrum resource.
In DC mode, the Nova436h treats each carrier as an independent cell, supporting up to 128+128 users, with each cell capable of 5, 10, 15, or 20 MHz bandwidth. Utilizing the Nova436h in DC mode streamlines the deployment of split sectors.
Additionally, the Nova436h features HaloB as an embedded EPC option within its base software. Baicells’ patented HaloB solution incorporates essential core network functions directly into the eNB.
