Helium also recently inked a deal with Telefónica, one of South America’s largest telco providers (valued at US$24B). This new deal will allow any Telefónica subscriber in Mexico to start roaming onto Helium WiFi access points and offloading data to the Helium network. As one of the world’s largest telecom giants, Telefónica’s partnership with Helium is set to redefine mobile hotspot deployment in Mexico and hopefully open the door for more partnerships in the future 🚀
